Day 1, we were required to take our pre-arrival objects out and lined up on the floor. As the pictures showed above, I do understand why Joe our course leader said she saw a picture from my piece.
To be honest, I have never done such a model during my past life. So I tried as much I could, came out an innocent and clumsy one. But with the comparison, I was able to get the meaning, and feel like improvement.
Then, time for some air.

After about 15mins walking, we arrived in the Nottingham Contemporary Gallery. I was amazed by the marvelous colors and the surface's materials of this building. It looks like a interlock structure consist of containers, but the lace texture on the surface gives a historical meaning, beautiful and sentimental.

Unfortunately the gallery was closed for changing exhibitions. But we got to access the cafe and restaurant.

I noticed of the frequent straight lines of inner structures that connect as a guidance system. In order to lead visitors to follow the only way to reach access and exit.
